𝟓𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐍𝐔𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐇 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔. The Bureau of Fire Protection Region 7, under the leadership of 𝐅𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐑𝐎𝐃𝐎𝐋𝐅𝐎 𝐏 𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐀𝐆𝐀, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫, and the Bohol Provincial Fire Office, headed by 𝐅𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐑𝐀𝐔𝐋 𝐆. 𝐁𝐔𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐋𝐈Ñ𝐎, 𝐉𝐃, 𝐃𝐏𝐀, personnel of Loon Fire Station, under the supervision of 𝐒𝐅𝐎𝟑 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐨 𝐑. 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐉𝐫., 𝐂𝐄, 𝐌𝐏𝐀, proudly joined the 52nd Regional Nutrition Month Launching and Fun Walk & Zumba Activity held on 0430H July 6, 2026, at the Loon Town Square, Moto Norte, Loon, Bohol.

Anchored on this year’s main theme, “Sa PPAN: Sama-sama sa Nutrisyong Sapat, Para sa Lahat!” and sub-theme, 𝐍𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐲𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐭 𝐊𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐧, 𝐀𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐚𝐧! we celebrated together the importance of proper nutrition and environmental stewardship.

This year's celebration reminds us that good nutrition and a healthy environment go hand in hand. Climate change affects not only our surroundings but also our food systems, agricultural productivity, water supply, and food security. Extreme weather events, prolonged droughts, floods, and rising temperatures can reduce the availability of nutritious foods, increase food prices, and heighten the risk of malnutrition, especially among pregnant women, infants, young children, and other vulnerable populations.

Protecting our environment is therefore an investment in better nutrition and healthier communities. By promoting sustainable food production, reducing food waste, conserving natural resources, and adopting climate-resilient practices, we help ensure that every family has access to safe, affordable, and nutritious food today and for future generations.
