Loon Rural Health Unit 2 and Birthing Center is proud to be recognized as a Level I Adolescent-Friendly Health Facility, committed to providing accessible, responsive, and youth-centered health services in a safe, confidential, and supportive environment.
Our services include:
β’ Adolescent Check-up
β’ Psychosocial Risk Assessment and Management (HEADSS)
β’ Immunization (based on targeted age groups)
β’ Reproductive Health Assessment and Counseling
β’ Nutrition Assessment and Counseling
β’ Voluntary Counseling and Testing for STIs and HIV
β’ Gender Issues Counseling and Referral
β’ Provision and Access to Contraceptive/Family Planning Services
β’ Health Education and Counseling
β’ Antenatal Care (Pre-natal, Natal, and Post-natal)

The Loon Rural Health Unit 2 and Birthing Center proudly celebrates the successful conduction 1st round of Mobile Blood Donation Activity for 2026 last May 29, 2026!
First and foremost, we extend our deepest gratitude to our 68 successful blood donors. You are the true heroes of this event. Through your selfless act of donating blood, you have given hope, extended lives, and made a difference in the lives of patients and families in need. Your generosity embodies the spirit of compassion and community service.
We are also honored to acknowledge the support of Mayor Hon. Cesar Tomas M. Lopez, MD and Councilor Hon. Marie Hazel R. Saavedra, RN for gracing the event and continuously supporting health initiatives in our municipality.
Our heartfelt thanks go to the barangay leaders and officials who supported this worthy cause:

We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to the 702nd Regional Mobile Force Battalion (RMFB), headed by CPT Karl Ferdinand P. Mamon, for their participation and blood donations, demonstrating their commitment not only to public safety but also to saving lives through voluntary blood donation.
Our gratitude likewise goes to Governor Celestino Gallares Memorial Medical Center (GCGMMC) for facilitating the blood donation process and ensuring the safe and successful conduct of this activity.
This accomplishment is a testament to what can be achieved when government agencies, healthcare workers, community leaders, and volunteers come together for a common purpose. Thank you to everyone who made this activity a success.

Loon RHU 2 and Birthing Center warmly invite everyone to participate in the Mobile Blood Donation Drive for the First Half of 2026 this coming May 29, 2026 at the Catagbacan Norte Covered Court, Catagbacan Norte, Loon, Bohol.
A single blood donation can help save multiple lives. We encourage everyone who is eligible to take part in this meaningful activity and become a hero to those in need.
