When I was young I used to worry about other people not liking me.

Years later my first therapist Joyce, (I’ll never forget her she changed my life) asked me,

“Barb, do you like everyone?” I said no. She replied, “Then why are you worried about everyone liking you? That’s impossible!”

It was the biggest freedom to finally understand that there’s nothing wrong with you just because someone doesn’t like you.

Trying to make everyone happy is impossible. What really matters is whether or not you like yourself.

Focus your energy there, and never apologize for being you. ☕️
