Time to work outside!
Children learn best when engaging all their senses for they are sensory learners and gardening calls to all senses where they can touch and feel the dirt.
As kids garden, they develop important motor skills that will help them improve their academic skills such as writing, cutting and typing.
At first, this kid doesn’t want to participate in garden activities and to touch the soil because of sensory problems and his obsessiveness to always be clean! But through encouragement and guidance and positive reinforcements, he is able to do his tasks.
