Life Taught Me

𝗕𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗻.

You move through spaces like you’ve always belonged there, speaking loudly about things that don’t seem to come from you.

It’s like you’re wearing beliefs the way someone borrows clothes—just enough to fit in for the moment. But the fit is never quite right, and eventually it shows.

You echo ideas you haven’t lived, stand with people and causes you don’t really stand in, all for the chance to be seen. But being seen like that isn’t the same as being known. The people you’re trying to impress don’t actually see you—they just see the version you’re performing.

And that’s the part that sticks with me. Because underneath all of it, there’s a real person there who doesn’t need to do any of this to matter.
