REGIONAL ANNUAL ADMINISTRATIVE AND TACTICAL INSPECTION (RAATI) 2026

On 19 April 2026, the Cordillera Career Development College ROTC Unit actively participated in the Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI) 2026, held at Benguet State University. During the event, the participating units showcased unwavering discipline, strong camaraderie, and exceptional tactical proficiency.

The Cadets of CCDC ROTC Unit demonstrated outstanding competence, particularly in Map Reading, where they achieved a perfect 100% rating in both the written and practical examinations. A total of 40 Basic Cadets were carefully selected and divided into two teams, 20 cadets took the written exam, while the other 20 performed the actual.

Together with the other ROTC Units the BSU ROTC Unit, UB ROTC Unit, and KCP ROTC Unit.They secured an impressive overall rating of 98.7% and claimed the 3rd Place in the RAATI 2026. This achievement is a clear reflection of effective leadership, strict discipline, and the spirit of unity strengthened by hard work and training. It proves that todayโ€™s youth are capable of rising as future leaders ready to serve with honor, excellence, and dedication.

On 181300 April 2026, Training Staff of CCDC ROTC Unit led by LTC JEOFREY G CODIAMAT (INF) PA, Commandant, facilitated the ROTC 13th Training Day for the 281 Basic ROTC Cadets (MS-2) of CCDC ROTC Unit.

At 1300H on the same day, the Basic ROTC Cadets had their formation for accounting and checking of attendance, followed by Drills and Ceremonies facilitated by TSg Ruel M Verdejo (Inf) PA, Tactical NCO, with the assistant of the Advance ROTC Cadet Officers and GMA, held at the Benguet State University Oval, Km 6 La Trinidad, Benguet. The activity ended at about 1700H on the same day.

๐˜ฝ๐™Ž๐™ ๐™๐™Š๐™๐˜พ๐™, ๐™๐™๐™š ๐˜พ๐™๐™–๐™ก๐™ก๐™š๐™ฃ๐™œ๐™š๐™ง: On April 19, 2026, the Office of the Assistant Division Commander for Reserve Force Development (OADCRFD), led by Colonel Camilo A. Saddam, the Assistant Division Commander for Reserve Force Development of the 5th Infantry Division, Philippine Army (5ID, PA), spearheaded the inspection in the Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI) of the Benguet State University (BSU) Reserve Officer Training Corps Unit (ROTCu) , held at KM6, La Trinidad, Benguet, to assess the administrative efficiency and tactical proficiency of the ROTC cadets, ensuring that they meet the high standards required for operational effectiveness and readiness.

The event was graced by key stakeholders and host school administrators from Benguet State University, Dr. Kenneth A. Laruan โ€“ the BSU President, represented by Dr. Jose M. Florentino, Vice President for Business Affairs; Ms. Angeline Bugtong - Executive VP, KCP and some faculty members; Representatives from Local Government Unit (LGU) of La Trinidad; and Partner Agencies. The activity also witnessed by BSU Students; BSU ROTCu Commandant; National Service Training Program (NSTP) Directors; Personnel from 1401st Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion (1401RRIBn); and other audiences.

The RAATI was personally overseen by Colonel Oscar B. Balignasay Jr., the Group Commander of the 14th Regional Community Defense Group (14RCDG) along with the 1401st Community Defense Center (1401CDC) who meticulously planned, prepared and executed the inspection in collaboration with Benguet State University (BSU) as a host learning institution.

As one of the competitive ROTC units in the Cordillera Region, the BSU ROTCU demonstrated exceptional capabilities, showcasing their administrative and tactical competencies, highlighting their proficiency in various skills acquired during training.

On 09 April 2026, the Advance ROTC Cadet Officers of the Cordillera Career Development College ROTC Unit, actively participated in the 84th Araw ng Kagitingan (Day of Valor) and Philippine Veteransโ€™ Week celebration held at the La Trinidad Municipal Hall, Benguet. The event was conducted through LAKAD KALAYAAN 2026, carrying the theme: โ€œGiting ng Bayani, Pamana sa Salinlahi.โ€

This meaningful occasion honored the bravery and sacrifices of our veterans and national heroes who fought for the freedom we cherish today. Their courage continues to inspire present and future generations, reminding us that our independence was achieved through unwavering dedication and selfless service.

The activity gathered various organizations and sectors, including representatives from the La Trinidad Peopleโ€™s Council, La Trinidad Womenโ€™s Brigade, La Trinidad Masonic Lodge No. 344, the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts of the Philippines, the Veterans Federation of the Philippines (VFP), the VFP Sons and Daughters Association, Inc., EAPDATS (Municipal Scholars), and Mister and Miss La Trinidad 2026.

Also in attendance were the Joint Task Unit โ€œPanagkakaysaโ€ Baguio, the Benguet Police Provincial Office (BPPO), the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), Criminology Interns, and notably the 1401st Community Defense Center (CDC), with the ROTC units from the University of Baguio (UB ROTC Unit), Kings College of the Philippines (KCP ROTC Unit), Benguet State University Main Campus (BSU ROTC Unit), and Cordillera Career Development College (CCDC ROTC Unit), participated under the guidance of LTC JEOFREY G CODIAMAT (INF) PA, Director of the 1401st Community Defense Center (CDC)

The program concluded with a 21-gun salute rendered by the La Trinidad Municipal Police Stationโ€”an esteemed military honor symbolizing deep respect and remembrance for our fallen heroes.
