In times of deep political division, the rule of law matters more than ever. As lawyers, our duty is not to add to the confusion, but to stand by the truth — to educate, clarify, and uphold justice with integrity, regardless of politics.

Today, we celebrate the Feast of St. Joseph the Worker — a humble carpenter, a faithful servant, and a model of dignity in labor.

St. Joseph reminds us that work is more than a means of livelihood; it is a vocation, a way to serve God and others with love, integrity, and perseverance. In every task, whether seen or unseen, may we find purpose and grace.

Let us pray for all workers—that their labor may be justly rewarded, their dignity upheld, and their efforts blessed abundantly.

St. Joseph the Worker, pray for us. 🙏

Ran into a former classmate from Garcia College of Technology, back when we were both Engineering students. He made it all the way and is now a full-fledged engineer. I, on the other hand, was a dropout halfway through 2nd year. 😂

But as it turns out, God had other plans—and no regrets where the journey led. Life doesn’t follow the same blueprint for everyone. Some finish what they started, others are redirected, and sometimes, that redirection is exactly where you’re meant to be.

Attended the Integrated Bar of the Philippines Human Rights Workshop Series in Dumaguete City last April 10–12, 2026, with Atty. Jude M. Mangilog, IBP-Aklan Chapter President, and Atty. Ervin Ralph S. Venus, Co-Chair of the Human Rights Committee.

“He is not here; for He has risen, as He said.” (Mat. 28:6)

May the Resurrection of Jesus Christ fill your heart with hope, peace, and renewed faith.
