𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐮𝐦

For the second straight time, RSR Sct. Sheran C. Kalbi will represent the Basilan Council in the National Scout Youth Forum, once again bringing the voice of Basileño scouts to the national stage.

Sct. Kalbi will join fellow Regional Scout Representatives (RSRs) from the Western Mindanao Region in the forum set on April 14–17 in San Antonio, Roxas City, Capiz Province. The event will be hosted by the Capiz Council in coordination with the Western Visayas Regional Coordinating Committee of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines.

The National Scout Youth Forum gathers young brilliant scouts from across the country to discuss youth concerns, share ideas, and strengthen leadership within the movement.

Congratulations, RSR Sheran! May your voice—and the voice of Basileño scouts—be heard in this important national gathering. ⚜️👏

The Senior Scouts of Basilan National High School successfully organized a Free Iftar for our Muslim brothers and sisters at the Cabunbata Mosque, Brgy. Cabunbata. This meaningful initiative was spearheaded by the dedicated scouts of BNHS under the guidance of Institutional Scout Coordinator Mr. Christianvil T. Garcia and Scout Leader Ms. Julienne Izabel B. Garcia.

The activity was led by Senior Crew Leaders Rayhan D. Ajal, Aiyessa Jesel Gasoh, Miel Handang, and Norina Mammah, who took the lead in preparing and cooking the food for Iftar alongside fellow scouts. It was truly a collective effort, reflecting the spirit of service and unity among scout-volunteers.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to the supportive BNHS Principal, Dr. Arnel B. Hajan, for allowing and encouraging initiatives like this. Our sincere thanks as well to all scouts and scout leaders who generously contributed funds to make this activity possible.

Special appreciation goes to Scout Ashraf Abduho for voluntarily assisting in fetching and safely bringing home some of the scouts.
Indeed, this initiative was a great success—made possible through teamwork, compassion, and a shared commitment to serve the community.

Young scouts of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines actively serve the school community by promoting discipline, cleanliness, and respect for rules inside and outside the school premises.
