The survival camp brought various activities such as navigation, shelter building, and emergency and safety training on day one. Hiking on the second day, and an obstacle course on the last day.
The following scouts participated in the survival camp:
VS (Venturer Scout) Jose Mari Mayor

The scouts successfully showcased their skills, demonstrating their dedication and the results of their training while reaching new heights and aiming to continue their journey.
"It was tough and hard for me, especially because it was my first time. We were tasked to sleep in the wilderness without our tents. But even though it was tough, we still gained new memories and are closer to our goals than ever,” Scout Dejaño shared after the encampment.
The success of these scouts serves as a milestone not just for the participants, but for the entire organization of the Senior Scouts of Matlang National High School.
“As their outfit advisor, I am proud of how they represented our school with confidence, responsibility, and determination. They demonstrated outstanding performance throughout the Survival Camp and showed discipline, teamwork, resilience, and leadership despite the challenges they encountered during the activities,” said Sctr. Stella Mariz Daffon, Outfit Adviser.
