12-year-old Sofia G. Huete from Sta. Cruz Elementary School in Sorsogon emerged victorious in the discus throw event held at the Marikina Sports Complex this morning.

Sofia achieved an impressive distance of 29.98 meters, securing the top spot in the competition. Her success is also attributed to the guidance and support provided by her coaches, Melvin M. Balaoro and Lory M. Ravanilla.
