Ipil Municipal Fire Station personnel under the Emergency Medical Service (EMS), spearheaded by FSINSP HERMAN I TING, CE, MPA, Municipal Fire Marshal, promptly responded to a Emergency Medical Response at Taway, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay.

Upon arrival at the scene, the patient was found seated on a chair and complaining of pain. Initial assessment revealed swelling of the left ankle. According to the patient, the injury was sustained while playing pickleball.
First aid was provided by resting the injured joint, applying an ice pack, and securing the ankle with a bandage to immobilize the affected area.
