Imus Arts Community

The Imus Arts Community formally announces, as a collective decision of its members, committees, and founders, its withdrawal from the Cavite Creatives Community and the cessation of operations of Imus Arts Community as an organization. This decision follows the resignation of our current President, Lorelie Albaran, and Founders Neil John Luna and JM Lozendo.

After careful reflection and dialogue, the community has collectively determined that our values, goals, and guiding principles no longer align with those of the Cavite Creatives Community and its stakeholders. This decision does not stem from internal conflict within the Imus Arts Community, but rather from an evolving divergence in organizational direction and principles beyond our institution.

In upholding our integrity and remaining faithful to the standards we have collectively established, we recognize this course of action as a necessary consequence of not meeting shared ends. While we acknowledge that circumstances have positioned us as collateral to these developments, we continue to respect and honor the individuals and institutions who once provided us opportunities for growth and collaboration.

Although Imus Arts Community will no longer continue its operations as a formal organization, the passion and commitment to the arts remain unwavering among its members, committees, and founders. Each will continue to pursue and advance artistic practice, cultural engagement, and creative advocacy independently, guided by the same dedication that once united us under a single name.

We firmly believe that the pursuit of art transcends organizational identity. Our commitment does not end with the closure of this community, but instead evolves through individual journeys that continue to contribute to the artistic landscape of Cavite and beyond.

We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who has been part of our journey.

TALAARAWAN PROJECT | 01.03.2025

Sa lahat ng naging bahagi ng inisyatiba na ito, malugod at taos-puso po kaming nagpapasalamat! Mahigit kumulang 80 na bata ang ating nabigyan ng mga handog na art materials at christmas presents na siyang nagbigay ngiti at pag-asa sa kanila.

IKATLONG SALANG TAYO THIS JANUARY 11 SA EIGHT CUP CAFE - IMUS, CAVITE!

Mga dapat malaman tungkol sa pagsali:
1. Bukas ito para sa lahat. Kahit saan ka pa nakatira basta kayang makarating sa mga araw ng Etibakbakan. Pwedeng nakatira sa Cavite. Pwedeng sa malayo. Basta makakarating.
2. Kahit anong edad ay maaaring sumali.
3. Gaganapin ang Etibakbakan sa ibat-ibang bahagi ng Cavite magmula August hanggang February.
4. "Showcase, hindi showdown" ang format ng Etibakbakan 2025.
5. Magkakaroon ng anim (6) na "Etibakbakan Open Mic Night".
6. Imbes na magkaroon ng mga judges na mag-iiskor kada elimination round, magkakaroon ng selected jury na tahimik na nanunuod kasama ng audience.
7. Sa pagtatapos ng gabi, may pipiliing dalawa (2) hanggang (3) performer hanggang sa mabuo ang labing-lima (15) na papasok sa semi-finals or didiretso sa GRAND FINALS. Makakareceive ang mga mapipili ng SILVER OR GOLD TICKET! Kaya Kahit di ka mapili agad sa unang pagsalang, pwede ka pa sumubok sa iba pang Etibakbakan Open Mic Night.
8. Sa madaling sabi, parang Pilipinas Got Talent pero puro spoken word.
9. Ang magwawagi ay magkakamit ng P25,000, mga libro at sertipiko.
10. Libre ang pagsali!
