On 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟭, we celebrate 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝗮𝘆, a day rooted in the long history of workers fighting for fair wages, safe working conditions, and equal rights. Hindi lang ito simpleng pagpupugay, kundi isang paalala na ang mga karapatang tinatamasa ngayon ay bunga ng tapang, pagkakaisa, at sakripisyo ng mga manggagawa noon at hanggang ngayon. ✊🏻

Patuloy pa rin ang laban para sa tunay na pagkakapantay-pantay at katarungan para sa mga lumalaban nang patas. The story is far from over, but 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿, 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱, 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸 𝘂𝗽, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁.

𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝘁𝗵 🫵🏻

Young leaders, advocates, and changemakers gathered for the 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗣𝗛 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗢𝗚𝗣 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘆𝗮𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽, creating a space for collaboration, dialogue, and action toward more open and participatory governance.

𝗥𝗘𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗠 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 proudly took part last 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟭𝟴, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, at 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘆𝗮𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆, which was represented by Dominic Layawon and James Abid Sta. Maria, contributing to the growing movement of youth engagement in governance. 🙌🏻

The event was graced by Iloilo Province Vice Governor Lee Ann Debuque, who delivered an inspiring message, and was also graced by the presence of Yuan Rafael Fernandez, National GoodGovPH Education Director; CJ Javier, National GoodGovPH Community Director; and our very own Reform Organization Vice President for External Affairs, Railyn Jeffe I. Alcarde, serving as one of the speakers and Visayas Hub Project Head.

Other Reformistas actively involved in the GoodGovPH Visayas Hub include Organization President Esmeralda Ellyn Joy Estrada, REC Co-Chairperson Angel Napano, and Reform Senator-Elect Darleen Panizales—further strengthening youth representation in the space.

Through engaging sessions, participants from various institutions explored how transparency, accountability, and participation can be translated into concrete initiatives within their schools, organizations, and communities.

On this day, we embrace 𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗳, and 𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗲—remembering that even in darkness, faith remains. It is a moment to pause, to reflect deeply, and to trust in the promise of new life.

May this day lead us to 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲, and 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵, as we prepare our hearts for the light of renewal.
