Gold Medalist confirmed that Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Sae-ron dated between summer 2019 and fall 2020, after she became an adult. Evidence proves that all photos in question were taken after she turned 18, disproving Gaseyeon’s claims that the relationship began when she was a minor.

Gold Medalist addressed Gaseyeon’s misrepresentation of Kim Soo-hyun’s military letters. The agency clarified that Kim Soo-hyun sent letters to multiple acquaintances while adjusting to military life. The phrase "I miss you" was a common expression among soldiers writing to close friends, not exclusive to Kim Sae-ron. Gaseyeon falsely portrayed these letters as romantic and manipulated them alongside later postcards to fabricate a long-term relationship narrative.

𝗞𝗶𝗺 𝗦𝗮𝗲-𝗿𝗼𝗻’𝘀 𝗧𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗠𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲 & 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
The agency addressed the text message Kim Sae-ron sent to Kim Soo-hyun on March 19, 2024, which has been widely misinterpreted. The message was related to her debt with Gold Medalist, not a personal loan from Kim Soo-hyun. Kim Soo-hyun, who had been separated from her for four years, was unaware of the financial discussions between Gold Medalist and Kim Sae-ron. When he received the message, he immediately consulted his agency to understand the situation. Gold Medalist advised him not to respond directly to avoid misunderstandings and stated that the company would handle communication with Kim Sae-ron’s legal representatives to resolve the matter professionally.

Gold Medalist initially covered 1.114 billion won in damages, negotiating it down to 700 million won to ease the pressure on Kim Sae-ron. Despite no longer being in a relationship with her at the time, Kim Soo-hyun was aware of her struggles and ensured that she was given support through the agency. He was never a creditor demanding repayment, all debt matters were handled legally between Gold Medalist and Kim Sae-ron’s representatives.

Gold Medalist condemned the unauthorized disclosure of Kim Soo-hyun’s private life and warned against spreading misinformation. The agency emphasized that false narratives have turned speculation into malicious attacks.

Gold Medalist initially planned to release a detailed rebuttal next week based on verifiable evidence disproving Gaseyeon’s report. However, due to Kim Soo-hyun’s rapid psychological instability following the accusations, they decided to issue an urgent statement.

The agency revealed that on the night of March 12, an individual with a camera was stationed outside the company’s premises until dawn, and on March 13, people holding cameras were seen around the building, intensifying the mental and emotional pressure on Kim Soo-hyun.

Gold Medalist stated:

"We ask for your generous understanding as we urgently distribute a statement revealing the truth about the main issues. Even if it is different from the original plan, nothing takes priority, so we decided to tell you even if there are some shortcomings."

The agency will continue to release factual evidence to set the record straight.
