𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐛𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧, 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐞.

Representing the spirit of excellence and leadership, 𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗹 𝗘𝗹𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗼 participated in the Scholars' Leadership Camp 2026, held at Sotogrande Hotel, Iloilo City, from July 8–12, 2026.

Bringing together 100 scholars from across Western Visayas and the Negros Island Region, the five-day camp served as a platform for developing leadership, strengthening collaboration, and empowering young scholars to become catalysts for positive change in their respective communities.

Throughout the camp, participants engaged in meaningful discussions, interactive workshops, and leadership-building activities designed to cultivate critical thinking, teamwork, communication, and service-driven leadership. Beyond acquiring new knowledge and skills, the gathering also fostered lasting connections among scholars who share the common goal of making a meaningful impact.

Atilano's participation reflects a commitment to continuous growth and exemplifies the values of academic excellence, servant leadership, and community engagement. His experience stands as an inspiration to fellow students, proving that leadership is not merely about holding positions—it is about embracing opportunities to learn, lead, and make a difference.

As future leaders continue to rise, may this journey serve as a reminder that every experience, every challenge, and every opportunity contributes to shaping individuals who will create lasting change in society.

While balancing demanding coursework, countless laboratory hours, and the pursuit of an engineering degree, they also carried the responsibility of serving the IIEE–ISAT U Student Chapter. Behind every successful program, every initiative realized, and every milestone achieved were officers who willingly gave their time, energy, and hearts—not for recognition, but for the organization they believed in.
