I went into the program, Listened to the Old-timers, worked the steps and took the "One Day at a Time" prescription--- swallowed it and by the grace of God, I digested it and sobered up. 3 years later, after celebrating my sobriety birthday, my MOM passed away due to a very rare Cancer--- I held her hand to her last breath, Sober. I am starting this project in honor of the Men and Women who helped and loved me unconditionally through this ordeal and made me understand that back then, I was not a bad person trying to be good, I was a sick person trying to get Well.
