The Faculty & Staff Men’s Basketball fight for 3rd place between DSSC Team A and University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP) was an all-out hardwood war during the 7th Founding Anniversary of Davao del Sur State College. It was a high-scoring showdown filled with fastbreak finishes, contested rebounds, and clutch perimeter shooting. DSSC Team A kept the pressure on, matching every run and attacking the paint with intensity.

But in the final quarter, the veteran composure of USeP showed. With smart clock management, disciplined ex*****on, and timely baskets, USeP sealed the game as DSSC felt the pressure in the closing minutes. When the final buzzer sounded, the scoreboard read 101–96, with USeP securing the win. A game defined by experience, grit, and respect, fierce competitors on the court, partners in sportsmanship beyond it.
