𝐏𝐀𝐆-𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐔𝐘𝐎𝐆 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲-𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬

Daraga Community College (DComC) ended its three-day 22nd Founding Anniversary celebration on April 25, 2025, with a day of community-focused activities.

Beginning at 6:00 a.m., the event started with a tree-planting activity organized by Una Scientia Advocati (USAD) in Salvacion, Daraga, Albay, participated in by barangay officials, DComC students, and USAD members.

This was followed by the second annual “Book Bash,” a collaborative effort with the Guild of English Advocates (GEA), at Salvacion Child Development Center. The program commenced with a prayer offered by James Lord L. Mondano, followed by the singing of the National Anthem and the DComC Pandayan March. Welcoming remarks were delivered by GEA President Denz Albert Jacob, and an opening message was presented by Bernadette D. Naag, GEA adviser.

Interactive games preceded the main activity. A storytelling session presented by James Lord L. Mondano, Dinice Rhey Herrera, and Sheryn Marie Bradecina, intended to promote reading among young attendees. Ma. Glezia G. Lopera, a teacher at Salvacion Child Development Center, addressed the gathering with a message of appreciation.

The event concluded with the distribution of certificates, reading materials, and school supplies to participating guests and preschool learners. Ronna Jane T. Listor, DComC librarian, delivered the closing remarks summarizing the day’s activities.

In the afternoon, film screenings were held as part of the program.

The final day marked the conclusion of DComC’s 22nd Founding Anniversary celebration.
