In preparation for the upcoming 𝐎𝐧-𝐭𝐡𝐞-𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 (𝐎𝐉𝐓) of our third-year students, a special meeting was convened on May 15 with College Dean 𝐃𝐫. 𝐉𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐲𝐧 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐝, ELS Department Program Chair 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞 𝐉𝐚𝐥𝐠𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐨, and SIPP Coordinators 𝐌𝐬. 𝐍𝐢𝐤𝐤𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨-𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐚 and 𝐌𝐬. 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐯𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐫.

The meeting focused on the submission of internship requirements and the discussion of pertinent legal and procedural matters to ensure the smooth and successful deployment of student interns.

We’re capping off the week with our 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐀𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 (𝐐𝐀𝐌) for this year! ✨

In celebration of 𝑵𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑯𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒂𝒈𝒆 𝑴𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒉 this May, the ELS Department sets its sights on meaningful milestones and lasting legacies for the college, including the offering of the 𝑴𝑨 𝑬𝒏𝒈𝒍𝒊𝒔𝒉 program and the staging of the Department’s first-ever 𝑹𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒈𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑪𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒎𝒐𝒏𝒚. 💙🧿💙

𝐀𝐄𝐌𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐫𝐬' 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

The 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐌𝐚𝐣𝐨𝐫𝐬 (AEM) successfully conducted its event titled “𝐀𝐄𝐌𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐫𝐬' 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧” last 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟒, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, at the 𝐂𝐍𝐒𝐂 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫.

The event was dedicated to honoring the graduating batch of students for 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓–𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, recognizing their hard work, dedication, and achievements throughout their journey as AB ELS students. The celebration brought joy and excitement to the students through heartfelt messages and meaningful tokens shared with fellow English majors.

The 𝐄𝐋𝐒 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐲 also shared their valuable insights and words of encouragement for the graduates’ journeys ahead, inspiring them to pursue their dreams with determination and passion. Their messages served as motivation for the students as they prepare to face new opportunities and challenges beyond college life.

The 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐌𝐚𝐣𝐨𝐫𝐬 (AEM) is now officially opening the filing of candidacy for a new set of officers for 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔–𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟕.

The filing of candidacy will run from 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟒 to 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟔, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔. This is your chance to step forward and lead with purpose in the AEM community with passion and dedication.
