MONITORING & COMPLIANCE VISIT ON EO 51 – MILK CODE IMPLEMENTATION 🤱✅

Ensuring proper implementation of Executive Order No. 51 (Milk Code) the landmark policy that protects, promotes, and supports breastfeeding and regulates the marketing of breastmilk substitutes, complementary foods, and related products remains a top priority in our local health programs.

Recently, Ms. Anita P. Auro, RN, MAN – Municipal Nutrition Action Officer (MNAO) together with Mr. Glenn Paolo Morales, Registered Nutritionist-Dietitian (RND), conducted an official monitoring and assessment visit to the designated Breastfeeding Stations at Rural Health Unit 1 (RHU 1) and Rural Health Unit 2 (RHU 2).

They were warmly welcomed and joined by our dedicated health leaders:

✅ Dr. Noel P. Delos Santos – Rural Health Physician, RHU 1

They checked the facilities, materials, guidelines, and services available to ensure full compliance with EO 51 standards.

Breastfeeding is every child’s right and every mother’s choice and it is our duty to ensure that every environment supports, protects, and promotes this life-giving practice.
