The Compostela Fire Station, BFP Region 7, under the leadership of 𝐅𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐋 𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐉𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐒 𝐉𝐑., 𝐃𝐒𝐂, Regional Director, in coordination with the Office of the Provincial Fire Marshal – Cebu headed by 𝐅𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐀𝐑𝐑𝐀 𝐁 𝐀𝐋𝐏𝐀𝐉𝐀𝐑𝐎, and under the guidance of 𝐅𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐑𝐎𝐆𝐄𝐑 𝐏 𝐋𝐎𝐑𝐎, Municipal Fire Marshal, successfully conducted the 23rd week of 𝐁𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠’𝐬 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲 (𝐁𝐅𝐅 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲).

Every Friday at 1500H, this year-long outreach initiative continues to serve at least 100 beneficiaries, bringing not only free food but also hope, compassion, and a reminder that the community cares. 💕🤲

Since its launch on January 2, 2026, BFF Friday has remained a symbol of generosity and public service, proving that small acts of kindness can create a lasting impact in the lives of others. ✨

The Compostela Fire Station, Bureau of Fire Protection Region 7, under the leadership of 𝐅𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐋 𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐉𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐒 𝐉𝐑., 𝐃𝐒𝐂, Regional Director, and in coordination with the Office of the Provincial Fire Marshal – Cebu headed by 𝐅𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐀𝐑𝐑𝐀 𝐁 𝐀𝐋𝐏𝐀𝐉𝐀𝐑𝐎, represented by 𝐅𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐑𝐎𝐆𝐄𝐑 𝐏 𝐋𝐎𝐑𝐎, Municipal Fire Marshal, actively participated in the 3rd day of Brigada Eskwela at Compostela National High School.

As part of its commitment to community service and public safety, the Compostela Fire Station joined the collective effort of teachers, parents, students, local government units, and community stakeholders in preparing schools for the opening of classes. Through the spirit of bayanihan, the activity promotes a safe, clean, and conducive learning environment for all learners.

The Bureau of Fire Protection remains steadfast in supporting educational initiatives and ensuring that schools are not only ready for learning but are also equipped with fire safety awareness and preparedness measures.

This year-long outreach program continues to bring smiles and hope to the community by providing free food to at least 100 beneficiaries every Friday. More than nourishment, each food represents compassion, generosity, and the spirit of public service. 🍱❤️

Since its launch on January 2, 2026, BFF Friday has been consistently held every Friday at 1500H and will continue until December 25, 2026, serving as a meaningful reminder that even simple acts of kindness can make a lasting impact.

As firefighters remain ever ready to respond to emergencies, they also stand committed to uplifting lives beyond the call of duty—strengthening community bonds through service, care, and compassion. 👨‍🚒👩‍🚒✨

🚒🏡 COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT | HOUSE-TO-HOUSE SURVEY 🏡🚒

The Compostela Fire Station, Bureau of Fire Protection Region 7, under the leadership of FCSUPT FRED L TRAJERAS JR., DSC, Regional Director, in coordination with the Office of the Provincial Fire Marshal – Cebu headed by FSUPT ARRA B ALPAJARO, and represented by FSINSP ROGER P LORO, Municipal Fire Marshal, successfully conducted the 4th day of the recalibrated house-to-house fire safety survey at Purok Bayabas, Brgy. Poblacion, Compostela.

This activity is part of the Handang Pamayanan Program, a mandatory program under the OLP: Obligasyon sa Bayan, Ligtas na Pamayanan Masterplan, aimed at strengthening community preparedness and promoting fire safety awareness at the household level.

With the vision “Hangad Nating Lahat, Pamayanang Handa, Aktibo at Masagana,” BFP personnel continue to build safer and more resilient communities—one home at a time. 🔥💪
