MENRO Compostela DDO

In line with the memorandum order from the office of Municipal Mayor (MO) Compostela regarding "Oplan Pulot Upos," the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) conducted the "Oplan Pulot Upos" and clean-up drive today, September 16, 2024.

The activity took place in front of the Legacy of Compostela Annex, aiming to promote environmental cleanliness and raise awareness about the proper disposal of cigarette butts and other litter. This initiative underscores the continued efforts of MENRO and other departments of LGU Compostela to foster a cleaner and healthier environment for the community.

A tree planting and growing activity is conducted and initiated by Sr. Santiago Apostol apostolates, spearheaded by Rev. Fr. Benjamin V. Lucena, Jr., at Purok 5, Valma, Ngan, Compostela, Davao de Oro. A total of 300 hills ug native trees were planted (1st batch).
