During the activity, the students successfully bagged 𝟔𝟒𝟎 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝑨𝒗𝒊𝒄𝒆𝒏𝒏𝒊𝒂 𝒔𝒑𝒑., locally known as 𝐛𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧. These seedlings were transported to the 𝐁𝐈𝐒𝐔–𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐍𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐲, where they will be nurtured until they become healthy and resilient enough to be used for future coastal rehabilitation efforts.

This initiative supports the existing 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐨𝐡𝐨𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 under the “𝑳𝒖𝒏𝒉𝒂𝒘 𝒏𝒈𝒂 𝑲𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒖𝒑𝒂𝒏” Program, which aims to restore mangrove forests and strengthen coastal greenbelts that protect coastal communities while supporting marine biodiversity.

We would like to 𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬 for their invaluable support and cooperation in making this activity possible. 🌱🌎💚
