SCS Days 2026 IDEATHON: THE 2030 RED LINE CHALLENGE IS HERE.

In 2015, the world agreed on a blueprint for peace and prosperity: the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

It is now 2026 and we are at a critical juncture.

Global progress has slowed. For many of our most vital targets, we are in the red. We no longer have the luxury of broad, vague ideas. The world needs targeted, technical, and high-impact interventions and it needs them NOW.

The 2030 Red Line Challenge isn't about general awareness.
It is about solving the specific bottleneck problems that stand between us and a sustainable future.

We are calling SCS's brightest minds to move beyond theory and pitch solutions that can be deployed, scaled, and sustained in the real world.

Are you ready to answer the urgency?

SCS students Robien Lee Tan and Kristian Cesar Panong are off to Japan for a one-month research engagement at Osaka Institute of Technology under the supervision of Prof. Kaneshiro, as part of our Student Exchange Agreement.
Upon returning to the Philippines, they will continue their research through virtual engagement with their Japanese research mentors and lab members—strengthening international collaboration beyond physical mobility.
