USC - IMA Student Chapter

𝑨 𝑴𝒊𝒍𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒉 𝑪𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈

Some moments are bigger than trophies, and for USC-IMA SC, this is one of them.

Last 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟖, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, USC IMA attended the 𝟒𝟎𝐭𝐡 𝐔𝐒𝐂 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲 at the Albert van Gansewinkel Hall, USC Downtown Campus, as one of the nominees for The Outstanding Campus Student Organization Award (TOCSO). Out of 64 registered student organizations, being recognized among the 16 𝙣𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙨 stands as a meaningful achievement for our growing organization.

Representing USC-IMA SC during the ceremony were President Peter Mathew Adonis, Vice President Alex Shareff Templado, Director of Projects Riesha Nyle Oyangorin, and Director of Growth and Technology Fia Yongco.

Though the title was not ours to bring home, this experience reminded us that success is not always defined by awards received, but by the journey taken to get there. In only three years of existence, our chapter has continued to grow into a community driven by passion, service, and the shared vision of uplifting Management Accounting students.

This nomination is a symbol of how far the organization has come and how much potential still lies ahead. Every project initiated, every challenge overcome, and every student empowered became part of the story that brought our chapter to this moment.

This chapter may mark our first TOCSO nomination, but it certainly will not be the last.

In our third consecutive year as an IMA student chapter, USC-IMA SC once again earned the prestigious 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 — a recognition given to student chapters that continuously uphold IMA’s mission and vision through impactful initiatives, leadership, and service.

This achievement is more than just another award added to our journey. It is a reflection of every challenge conquered, every initiative brought to life, and every individual who chose to lead with purpose and serve with passion. Through our banner of 𝘿𝙀𝙑𝙊𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉. 𝙑𝙄𝙎𝙄𝙊𝙉. 𝙀𝙓𝙋𝘼𝙉𝙎𝙄𝙊𝙉., we continue to prove that excellence is not a one-time achievement — it is a commitment we uphold together.

To our beloved members, officers, and the entire USC-IMA SC family, thank you for dedicating your time, talents, and hearts to this organization. Every event, every meeting, every sleepless night, and every effort behind the scenes led us to this milestone.

To the 𝘿𝙚𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝘼𝙘𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙮, Dr. Challoner A. Matero, Sir Rey D. Amaya (Rei Born), Atty. Marydith Boltiador-Orio, Atty. Artche Lleve, our faculty members, and especially our adviser, Sir John Davis Baguio — thank you for your unwavering guidance, encouragement, and belief in what this chapter can achieve.
