This adorable little boy Shivanen is Anitha's grandson who's afraid of dogs, and Adhi my student the Frenchie dog of Anitha is not used to being with kids. The family's very much concern on how would Shivanan and Adhi get along. Situation like this happens many times in family when a new human member comes in and humans are worried seeking approval of acceptance from their family dog. Just like bringing a new member in a pack of dogs where the Alpha or pack leader is the one who decides to accept or reject the membership. However, in our pack of humans or family with a dog, it's always us humans should be the one approving and not the dog. We decide who to introduce to our dogs for them to accept. Of course by proper introduction and calm approach, and with assertive leadership, the dog will understand and respect what you as an Alpha tells him/her to do.

I introduced Shivanen to Adhi and helped interact with him in a very positive and rewarding way.@rajan.anitha
