๐๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐บ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ญ๐ณ, ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฑ โ Today, marks the first day of the pre-oral defense of DevCom 4th year students at the UEP-LRC, panelled by distinguished college professors of the College of Arts and Communication.
The event successfully started as the researchers presented various ideas and insights focusing on developmental issues and communication principles. At the end of each presentations, the members of the panel shared their comments and encourages the researchers to continue on improving their respective studies.
The next set of DevCom 4th year students are slated to present their study on the second day of the pre-oral defense scheduled tomorrow, December 18.

Hereโs how to survive and claim victory:

๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ฆ: Protect your identities, and secretly agree on a Citizen to eliminate each night. โฏ๏ธ
Donโt Forget: WEAR THE OFFICIAL "NIGHT HAS COME" OUTFIT to blend in and avoid suspicion. ๐ต๏ธโโ๏ธ

Yesterday, September 30, 2024, the ๐๐ฆ ๐๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐น๐ผ๐ฝ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐๐ผ๐บ๐บ๐๐ป๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป (๐๐ฒ๐๐๐ผ๐บ), through the efforts of the ๐๐ผ๐บ๐บ๐๐ป๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐๐๐๐ผ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป (๐๐ผ๐บ๐บ๐๐๐) ๐ข๐ณ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐, successfully commenced a ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ด๐ฟ๐ฎ๐บ ๐ข๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐ต๐บ๐ฒ๐ป for Freshmen held at the Audio Visual Room of UEP Center for Samar Studies Building, University of Eastern Philippines.
The event primarily aimed to acquaint the students of the programโs mandates, significance to society, and other relevant information relative to the students' academic endeavors. As the program formally started, Ms. Kenchen Y. Dela Tonga, vice president of ComAss, shared the Rationale of the Activity.
Dr. Kristine Mae B. Destura, associate professor and CommAss adviser, delivered the Historical Perspective of BS DevCom. Likewise, Dr. Salvie S. Magtanao, DevCom's program chair, presented the UEP DevCom Curriculum in order to guide and orient the freshmen on the program's admission and retention policy. Alongside this, Prof. Brenfred N. Romero, director for admission and CommAss adviser, formally introduced the program's core and affiliate faculty members.
To break the monotony of the program, the Senior BS DevCom students, namely Erica Rosaniรฑa and Mark Daniel Nofies entertained the attendees through a song number.
Meanwhile, Dr. Perlita B. Loverita, dean of College of Arts and Communication, shared an invaluable message where she encouraged the students to be more academically competitive and to collaborate on the efforts of the program's mandate in achieving quality education.
Moreover, Prof. Romero also shared an Overview of the Internship Program and eventually introduced the host training establishments' group leaders to share their significant experiences during the internship.
Lastly, Justine Sean D. Deniega, CommAss president, expressed her deep gratitude and formally closed the momentous event.
The half-day program was also graced by one of the assistant professors of BS DevCom and Station Manager of Huni 102.9 DYNS FM, Ms. Juniver P. Delorino.
