Couples for Christ - Northern Samar

Most Rev. Emmanuel C. Trance, DD, Bishop of Catarman along with Rev. Fr. Fred Placa (CFC Spiritual Director), Msgr. Gaspar Balerite (UEP Chaplain), and other visiting priests from various parishes, celebrated the Holy Eucharist.

Bishop Trance's homily started with the line from Pope Francis's book, Amoris Laetitia; "The joy of love experienced in the families, is also the joy of the Church." He further gave emphasis on the Synod on Synodality --that we should be journeying together.

CFC Visayas Mission Head Brother Steve Maningat gave his message and led the praying over of the first batch of Couples for Christ. He reminded us of friendships and brotherhoods we have forged throughout the years.

Our 30th anniversary celebration started with a Spirit-filled worship led by two inspiring brothers; Bro. Arnel Saludario (Family Ministries Head) & Bro. James Karl Calipes (former Provincial Youth Head).

Bro. Arnel exhorted on how God works for good and shared that he was blessed with a wife who is also part of the community and eventually have their children be active members as well.

While Bro. James shared his Jesus-experience during his youth camp in 2012 and how God has been good in transforming him to what he is now, 10 years after.
