Today, CNC proudly joins the Joint Kick-Off Celebration of the National Disaster Resilience Month (NDRM) 2026 and National Nutrition Month (NNM) 2026, in collaboration with the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC) of Carrascal and the Municipal Health Office
Through the active participation of our Emergency Response Team (ERT), along with our rescue vehicles and emergency response equipment, CNC reaffirms its commitment to building resilient communities and promoting the health and well-being of every workers and Carrascalanons
This celebration highlights the vital connection between disaster resilience and proper nutrition. A resilient community is one that is not only prepared to respond to emergencies but is also healthy, well-nourished, and capable of recovering from disasters. By strengthening emergency preparedness while advocating for good nutrition, we contribute to safer workplaces, healthier families, and more sustainable communities.
CNC remains steadfast in supporting government initiatives through continuous emergency preparedness programs, safety and health campaigns, and community partnerships that foster resilience and wellness.
We extend our sincere appreciation to our Emergency Response Team and all CNC personnel who proudly represented the company in today's motorcade and opening program.

CNC actively participated in the Two-day QGIS Technical Seminar-Workshop for Geospatial Reporting and Compliance on Safety and Health, Environment, and Social Development, held today, July 1, 2026 at the Philippine Gateway Hotel, Surigao City,
The first day of the seminar-workshop featured insightful discussions and hands-on learning sessions on the fundamentals of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), emphasizing its role in geospatial reporting and regulatory compliance within the mining industry.
Participants attended lectures on the Introduction to GIS, followed by practical exercises on creating geospatial features using Google Earth Pro and QGIS. The program also highlighted the application of GIS-based mapping and location-based services in post-mining rehabilitation, showcasing how geospatial technologies contribute to responsible environmental management and sustainable mining practices.

Carrascal Nickel Corporation, through its Mine Environmental Protection and Enhancement Office (MEPEO), conducted an 𝗢𝗶𝗹 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 at 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 on 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟮𝟲, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.
Oil spills are among the most serious environmental threats to both terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems. As a mining company, the use of fuel, lubricants, and other petroleum products is essential for the operation of machinery, vehicles, and heavy equipment. Therefore, preventing and responding effectively to oil spill incidents is a critical part of responsible environmental management.
The activity was designed to promote effective oil spill prevention and response practices in the workplace. It focused on enhancing the preparedness and readiness of personnel to respond promptly to spill incidents through the proper use of spill kits, containment materials, and appropriate response procedures.
Through awareness sessions and hands-on workshops, this campaign aims to strengthen employees' knowledge and skills, minimize environmental risks, and foster a culture of environmental responsibility and safety in the workplace.
Protecting the environment begins with preparedness. Together, let us prevent pollution and safeguard our natural resources for future generations.
