🚌 Via Public Bus (Option 1)
▪️ Ride the MRT and alight at Ayala Station.
▪️ Follow the One Ayala signage. At the end, you'll find an escalator going down to the bus terminals.
▪️ Look for the buses labeled “BALIBAGO” (check the wall posts for signs). Buy a TRIPKO Card and ride the bus.
▪️ Tell the driver or conductor to drop you off at WalterMart Sta. Rosa.
Bus Fare: ₱70–₱85
Travel Time: 1 to 1.5 hour

▪️ At WalterMart Sta. Rosa, walk to the tricycle terminal and tell the driver to bring you to Enchanted Kingdom.
Tricycle Fare: ₱10 per person (shared) or ₱40 (special trip)
Travel Time: 10 to 15 minutes

🚐 Via Passenger Van (Option 2)
From Starmall Shaw:
▪️ Go to the UV Express Terminal and look for a van going to Balibago, Sta. Rosa.
▪️ Ask the driver to drop you off at WalterMart Sta. Rosa.
Van Fare: ₱70–₱80
Travel Time: Around 1.5 to 2 hours
▪️ At WalterMart, ride a tricycle to Enchanted Kingdom.
Tricycle Fare: ₱10 per person (shared)
or ₱40 (special trip)
Travel Time: 10 to 15 minutes

From waltermart, ride another tricycle and tell the driver to bring you to the Balibago Terminal in Sta. Rosa.

▪️At Balibago Terminal, ride a bus or van bound for Manila (Cubao, Buendia, or Pasay terminals).

▪️Get off at your preferred stop in Manila

🎢 Buy your tickets online in advance—especially on weekends or holidays. It saves you time at the entrance.
🎢 Check their weather advisory and ride maintenance schedule before your trip via their official page.
🎢 Bring a refillable water bottle—hydration is key especially during long queues.
🎢 Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. You’ll be walking a lot!
🎢 Apply sunscreen even if it’s cloudy, especially while waiting in line for outdoor rides.
🎢 Bring extra clothes if you plan to try water rides like Rio Grande Rapids.
🎢 For families or groups, consider renting a locker to keep your belongings safe while enjoying the rides.
🎢 The park can get crowded, so arrive early to maximize your time.

🚌Via Commute
▪️Ride a Victory Liner bus bound to Iba, Zambales. Tell the driver to drop you off at San Marcelino Public Market.
Bus Fare: PHP348
Travel Time: 3-4hrs

▪️At back of the public market, find the tricycle with a route of Zone 7, then ask them to bring you to Lake Mapanuepe View Deck/Brgy. Aglao.
Trycyle Fare:500/4pax
Travel Time: 30-45mins

▪️Once you are in the View Deck, register and pay the fees listed below then rent a boat.
Boat Fare: PHP 500/5pax (RoundTrip)

𝐇𝐎𝐖 𝐓𝐎 𝐆𝐎 𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐊 𝐓𝐎 𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐋𝐀?
▪️The boat will fetch you and bring you back to the view deck.
▪️From there, contact your tricycle driver and tell him to bring you to the highway.
▪️From the highway, There are buses that wil pass by. Sometimes there are buses that will take you directly to Cubao but if none, Ride a bus going to Olongapo.
▪️From Olongapo, Ride a bus bound to Cubao.

📌𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄 𝐓𝐎 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐘?
This is a camping ground. There is no accommodation here but if you do not own a tent, There are tent rentals available for PHP PHP 350/night.

📌𝐓𝐈𝐏𝐒/𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐒:
⛺Mapanuepe Lake is divided into Phase 1 and Phase 2.
PHASE 1-Less crowded
PHASE 2-(Recommended) Has better view of rhe lake but there are much more tourists here.
Tip: Camp on weekdays to avoid influx of tourists on weekends.
⛺There are restrooms scattered everywhere.
⛺There are small stores around the place where you can buy water and other food/snacks.
⛺Tent pitching is FREE.
⛺No signal, no source of light and no electricity.
⛺Mode of payment is CASH only. (You may withdraw in the public market of San Marcelino)
⛺Swimming is not allowed in the lake due to mercury.
⛺Take the number of your tricycle driver and arrange to be fetched once you're going home.
⛺Bonfire is allowed BUT make sure to let the local caretakers know so that they will guide you to the PROPER place where you can do a bonfire.
⛺Bring insect repellants.
⛺ LEAVE NO TRACE

Overall, We highly recommend you visit Mapanuepe Lake! We will definitely go back.
