IIEE Calbayog Chapter join BFP Fire Prevention Month

The Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers of the Philippines (IIEE) Calbayog Chapter extends its sincerest gratitude to Northwest Samar State University (NwSSU) for their invaluable partnership and support in the "Solar Installation and Arduino Programming for EIM Learners" project. This collaboration strengthens the industry-academe linkage and is mutually beneficial, ultimately improving the lives of community members. IIEE Calbayog appreciates the shared vision of creating an inclusive, enabling, equitable, and harmonious partnership to provide advanced education and technical skills enhancement.

The officers of the IIEE Calbayog Chapter attended the IIEE Leyte and Samar Chapters Officers meeting and seminar on December 21, 2025, at Samar State University in Catbalogan, Samar. The guest of honor and speaker was Engr. Robert Mabulay, the incoming National President for 2026. He presented two topics during the seminar: "The IIEE P*E Mentoring Program: Developing the Next Generation of Professional Electrical Engineers" and “Governance Lecture: "Robert’s Rules of Order: Practical Application for Incoming Interim Chapters."

First & foremost! I would like to Thank IIEE CALBAYOG for the successful conduct of the GMM & SEMINAR. Specially our guest speakers namely ENGR. ALLAN M. ALAGOS - PME, ENGR. CHRISTOPER M. DE LEON - P*E, ENGR. JONRYL P. NOVICIO - P*E, ENGR. BRIAN A. PASILAN - P*E & our very own eastern and central visayas regional governor ENGR. ERWIN J. SALVADOR - P*E. for imparting such a great knowledge to our members and students last December 10, 2025. THANK YOU SO MUCH

The Oath Taking Ceremony for the Officers of the IIEE Calbayog Chapter 2026 took place on December 10, 2025 at the Nortwest Samar State University Main Campus. During this significant event, our former Governor, Engr. Brian A. Pasilan, P*E, led the charging of duties and responsibilities, setting a positive tone for the incoming officers. The oath was administered by the current Governor, Engr. Erwin J. Salvador, P*E, reinforcing a strong commitment to leadership and service within the organization.
