Mayor Raymund “Monmon” C. Uy has ordered the suspension of classes at all levels—public and private—in the City of Calbayog on Monday, January 5, 2026, due to inclement weather and localized flooding.

This directive is issued upon the recommendation of the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) to safeguard the welfare of students.

All are advised to monitor official channels for further updates and to exercise caution, especially in flood-prone areas.
