On 09 May 2026, Claire Dennis S. Mapa, PhD, National Statistician and Civil Registrar General of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), conducted a field visit of livestock farm at Teotico Kings Ranch in Batasan, San Jose, Occidental Mindoro.

The activity forms part of the PSA’s continuing efforts to gather accurate and up-to-date data on livestock production and inventory. Information collected through the survey serves as an important basis for the development of agricultural programs, planning, policy formulation, and assessment of the livestock sector in the country.

The field visit emphasized the importance of producing reliable agricultural statistics that can support government agencies, local stakeholders, and the public in making informed decisions related to food security and agricultural development.

The PSA remains committed to strengthening the quality and integrity of official statistics through regular field monitoring and coordination with industry partners and local communities.

Matapos ang matagumpay na pagsasagawa ng PSA Serbisyo Caravan sa bayan ng Looc, nagtungo naman ang mga kawani ng Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Regional Statistical Services Office at PSA Occidental Mindoro sa bayan ng Lubang, Occidental Mindoro upang ilapit sa mga mamamayan ang iba’t ibang serbisyong pampubliko ng ahensya ngayong araw.

Kabilang sa mga serbisyong handog ng PSA ang mga sumusunod:

✅ CRS Serbilis Mobile Outlet
✅ National ID Mobile Registration at National ID Issuance
✅ Birth Registration Assistance Project (BRAP) Mobile Registration
✅ Information Dissemination hinggil sa mga resulta ng Censuses at Surveys, National ID, Data Enclave, at Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS)
✅ Series of CBMS Data Validation, PSIC Validation, and PLDS Establishments' Verification

Patuloy ang PSA sa paghahatid ng mabilis, maaasahan, at mas inklusibong serbisyo upang matiyak na ang bawat Pilipino ay naaabot ng mahahalagang serbisyong pampamahalaan.

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), headed by National Statistician and Civil Registrar General Claire Dennis S. Mapa, PhD, visited Occidental Mindoro to lead a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with fisherfolk on 09 May 2026 at Caminawit Fishing Port, San Jose, Occidental Mindoro.

The discussion provided a platform for fisherfolk to share their experiences, challenges, and insights, which will help strengthen statistical data and support more responsive and evidence-based fisheries policies and programs.

The visit also served as an opportunity for National Statistician Mapa to supervise the conduct of the Commercial and Municipal Fisheries Survey at the Caminawit Landing Center, highlighting PSA’s commitment to ensuring the quality and accuracy of fisheries data collection.

Also present during the activity were PSA RSSO MIMAROPA Regional Director Leni R. Rioflorido; RSSO SOCD Chief Statistical Specialist Ma. Leizl L. Magbojos, PhD; PSA Occidental Mindoro Chief Statistical Specialist Maribel L. Bernardo, PhD; BFAR Provincial Fishery Officer Mr. Edgardo Payas; Provincial Agriculturist Engr. Alrizza Zubiri; and Municipal Agriculturist Mr. Romel Calingasan.
