General Education teachers often seek training in Inclusive Education and inclusive practices, particularly in teaching strategies and behavior management to better support learners with disabilities (LWDs). KIDS is privileged to have received training from an experienced SPED educator and a highly respected Occupational Therapist.

Dr. Ivan Neil B. Gomez is a graduate of the Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from UST, Master of Arts in Education major in Special Education from UP Diliman, and Doctor of Philosophy in Rehabilitation Medicine from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He teaches at the University of Santo Tomas College of Rehabilitation Sciences, Department of Occupational Therapy. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Rehabtrends and serves as an Occupational Therapy Consultant at SJL Therapeutic Education and Management Learning Center. He has authored and published more than 40 books, journal articles, and other publications.

Teacher Jenny Paguyo graduated from UP Diliman with a Bachelor of Science in Education major in Special Education and is currently pursuing a Master of Education major in Special Needs and Inclusive Education. She is a Licensed Professional Teacher (4th Placer in the Licensure Examination for Teachers) and a Certified MED-EL Cochlear Implant Rehabilitation Specialist. She currently works as a Special Needs Education Teacher at Kids Intervention and Developmental Learning Center and SJL Therapeutic Education and Management Learning Center.

Also joining us were teachers from Calamba Christian Academy, headed by Ma’am Leslie Canta.

Please note that the KIDS Admin Office will be open tomorrow, June 2, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 NN only, as our teachers will be attending a training session in the afternoon.

June 8 (Monday) – Parents' Orientation at 9:00 AM. Attendance is required.
June 10–11 – Class Orientation and Preliminary Activities
June 15 – Start of Regular Classes

This week, we remember the greatest act of love—the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. ✝️

He suffered and gave His life on the cross to save us from our sins, a sacrifice born out of unconditional love and mercy. But His story did not end in the grave. On the third day, He rose again, victorious over sin and death, bringing us hope, new life, and the promise of eternal salvation.

As it is written in 1 Corinthians 15:17, “And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins.”

Indeed, His resurrection is the very foundation of our faith. Because He lives, we have hope. Because He conquered death, we are given the gift of eternal life.

May His sacrifice remind us to live with faith, humility, and gratitude. And may His resurrection inspire us to rise above our struggles, renewed in spirit and strengthened in His love.

He is risen! Alleluia! 🙏✨
