📚Stories that Inspire, Hearts that Connect! 📚

✨One of the highlights of the 2026 Brigada Eskwela Kick-Off Program of SDO Calaca City and Calaca Central Integrated School was the Ceremonial Storytelling Activity, where Hon. Sofronio “Nas” C. Ona Jr. generously shared his time and passion for reading as one of our esteemed storytellers.✨

With every page turned and every story told, our learners were inspired to dream, learn, and embrace the value of literacy. This meaningful activity reminded everyone that reading is not only a gateway to knowledge but also a bridge that connects communities in nurturing the next generation.

Our heartfelt gratitude to Hon. Sofronio “Nas” C. Ona Jr. for bringing stories to life and for supporting initiatives that promote learning, character-building, and a love for reading among our young Calaqueños.

Together, through Brigada Eskwela, we build schools, strengthen partnerships, and create brighter futures—one story at a time. 💙📖🏫

✨️The Division-Led Training of Teachers on the Revised Grades 6, 9, and 10 Curriculum successfully concluded its fourth and final day on May 28 at Calaca Central Integrated School, marking a meaningful culmination of learning, collaboration, and professional growth.✨️

Over the four-day program, teachers deepened their understanding of the revised curriculum through curriculum unpacking, instructional planning, assessment integration, and the adoption of responsive teaching strategies across learning areas. Active participation in discussions, workshops, and collaborative activities strengthened their readiness to deliver learner-centered and standards-based instruction in their classrooms.

Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Gregorio T. Mueco personally monitored the last day and the closing program, underscoring the importance of continuous professional development in empowering educators.

The training was a resounding success—equipping teachers with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to elevate classroom instruction and ensure quality learning outcomes for every Calacazen learner.
