The public is informed that the following rules are now being implemented at Atugan Bridge along Sayre Highway in Impasug-ong, Bukidnon, to ensure the safety of motorists and to protect the structural integrity of the bridge:

1. Light vehicles weighing up to five (5) tons or with six (6) wheels and below are allowed to pass through both lanes.

2. Heavy vehicles are subject to inspection by traffic personnel for possible overloading before crossing.

In view of the recent slip-collapse incident along a section of the Bukidnon–Davao (BuDa) Highway in Quezon, Bukidnon, close monitoring of the Atugan Bridge will likewise be conducted while awaiting the release of funds for its retrofitting works.

The Impasug-ong–Patulangan Bypass Road remains passable only to light vehicles with a maximum gross weight of five (5) tons and shall serve as an alternate route.

The DPWH Bukidnon 1st District Engineering Office ensures the installation of traffic signages and barriers, as well as the deployment of safety and traffic management personnel, to help minimize inconvenience during this period.
