It’s easy to love someone at their best. When they are kind, patient, thoughtful, and understanding—love feels natural. But what about when they are distant? When they disappoint you? When their flaws become more visible than their strengths?

Jesus didn’t wait for us to become perfect before loving us. He didn’t say, “Fix yourself first, then I’ll give My life for you.” No—He loved us at our worst. He saw every flaw, every sin, every failure, and still chose the cross. That is true love.
