Father Saturnino Urios University’s Innovation, Data Empowerment and Analytics Office - System Development Center successfully hosted a System Training on May 26, 2026, for the representatives of the City Health Department of the City Government of Butuan. Held at the FSUU MOESIS TBI Center, the activity served as an important step in equipping CHD personnel with the knowledge and skills needed for the effective use of the newly developed system.

The training was facilitated by the programmers and developers of the FSUU Innovation, Data Empowerment and Analytics Office – System Development Center, who provided comprehensive guidance on the system’s functions, features, and operational processes. This initiative reflects FSUU’s continuing commitment to innovation, digital transformation, and responsive technology solutions that support public service delivery in the local community.

Father Saturnino Urios University proudly celebrated FSUU Graduation 2026 on May 15, 2026 at the FSUU Gym, marking another milestone in honoring the achievements of our graduates. Gates officially opened at 10:00 AM, welcoming guests and families in a smooth and organized entry process as they gathered to witness this memorable occasion.

To ensure efficient, secure, and technology-driven access, FSUU once again utilized its QR Code Entry Pass System for guests of the graduates—a digital innovation developed by the FSUU Innovation, Data Empowerment and Analytics Office – System Development Center. Now on its third year of implementation, the system continues to enhance crowd management and guest convenience through a double verification process, where guests’ unique QR Codes were scanned and followed by photo capture verification for added security and authentication. The venue held almost 3500 graduates and guests. The system units used for this event were made possible through a collaborative project with the City Government of Butuan, reflecting a shared commitment to advancing technology-enabled public service and event management.

The queuing and QR Code scanning at the gates were efficiently assisted by the dedicated student marshalls of the Criminal Justice Education Program of FSUU, whose discipline and service contributed to the orderly flow of guests. FSUU extends its gratitude to all offices, personnel, student volunteers, and partners who worked together in making Graduation 2026 a successful, secure, and memorable celebration.
