Our two-week vacation is coming to an end, and I am starting to feel a little anxious about having to work again. Yes, even teaching, the thing I loved doing, is now making me feel that way.

I'm still trying to shift my mindset and focus on the things I still love. I've been spending these days watching, listening to music, working out (walking/jogging), and the one I love the most ---- reading.

Finding an original copy of an English book that is actually written in English is extra challenging here. With great effort (because I'd rather stay in my room than going out), I went to the big mall near our place and found a bookstore that sells what I'm looking for.

I've been eyeing on this book since I was in the Philippines and as if the universe was telling me now is the right time I read this, I bought and finished reading it.

Truly enough, I needed this now. To me, this is one of the books that heal a soul. It felt like a friend who silently hands you a cup of tea during a chilly night and just sits silently beside you, letting you know of their warm presence without overwhelming you with it.

I took a picture of my favorite chapter and lines from the book. That chapter "A Life Surrounded by Good People" specifically had me bawling. I may be having sh*tty days now and I've been very weak emotionally and mentally, but I'm also surrounded by good people (well not physically since they're miles away), so I think I can also look forward to a day when I can finally say I'm at peace and happy, right?

Hi! How's life?

I woke up earlier than usual today and decided to check out the pool area since I've only been there at night, and I'm glad I did. Life has not been very kind to me, but at least I found a new reading spot!

Sorry about the random update. My emotional and mental stability is just as unpredictable as my social media postings. I hope all is well on your end.
