A total of 7 newly registered Electronics Engineers and 10 newly registered Electronics Technicians have brought pride and honor to the university through their hard work, perseverance, and dedication. Their remarkable achievement is a testament to their commitment to excellence and the unwavering support of their mentors and faculty.

MarSU celebrates this milestone with great pride as these individuals are now ready to embark on their professional journey as innovators and contributors to the advancement of the field of electronics engineering.

Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines (IECEP)–Marinduque State University Student Chapter earned the 3rd runner-up spot, tying with Mapúa University, after presenting their research during the Innovatex Research Challenge of the National Students’ Summit (NSS) 2025 held on October 20, 2025, at the Marikina Convention Center.

The team, which previously qualified among the Top 7 finalists, was coached by Engr. Jestar Niel Milambiling and composed of Jerome Mago, Nash Ezekiel Malimata, Rhajan Arven Miranda, Hannah Mica Perilla, and Natalie Sta. Maria.

Their research, titled “Development of an Image Processing System for Arrowroot Maturity Classification and Sorting,” introduced an innovation in agricultural technology through image-based processing and classification.

The university commends the team for their dedication and achievement in representing MarSU at the national level.
