Oplan Brigada for the Library Hub: A Story of Collaboration

Theme: Sama-samang Paglilingkod
Dates: May 25, 26, 28, and 29, 2026

Through unity and shared purpose, Oplan Brigada para sa Library Hub brought together devoted partners in education to care for and strengthen our learning spaces. Volunteers worked side by side—covering books, organizing shelves, and preparing materials—turning our libraries into clean, safe, and welcoming places for every teacher and learner.

This effort showed the power of working together. With every small act of service, we created spaces where everyone can read, imagine, and grow.

With heartfelt thanks to:

•Our School Library Designates (SLDs) from all nine districts, whose dedication brought life and order to our libraries;

•Our leaders— CID personnel, PSDSs and EPSs headed by our CID Chief Sir John M. Chavez, and District LR Consultants—for their guidance and support;

* Administrative Officers who were present as well as parents and other external stakeholders;

•Our generous host School Principals:
◦ ​Mr. Ricardo Maano (DLHMS Library Hub);
◦ Mrs. Ma. Cecilia Par (Gabaldon ES);
◦ ​Dr. Katryn Asuncion (Gasan Central School); and
◦ ​Mrs. Edna Jalos (Torrijos Central School) and all participating schools, for opening their doors and resources.

Because of your unity, commitment, and spirit of Sama-samang Paglilingkod, this initiative became a success.

Congratulations to our Lead Focal and Division Librarian, Ms. Charmain J. Mogol, for her dedication in making this initiative possible.
