𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐏 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐧 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐳 𝐁𝐞𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧’𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡
Bislig City — Southern Technological Institute of the Philippines Inc.(STIP) secured 5th place out of 25 competing schools in the Children’s Congress Celebration Quiz Bee held on Friday at the Bislig City Sports Complex in line with the National Children’s Month celebration.

STIP was represented by Jemarrie Quiamjot, a Grade 12 student, under the guidance of her coach, Mr. Gelban Balo. The duo competed against top contenders from both public and private schools across the division, showcasing exceptional knowledge and composure throughout the event.

This year’s celebration carried the theme, “OSAEC–CSAEM Wakasan: Kaligtasan at Karapatan ng Bata, Ipaglaban!”, which underscored the nationwide advocacy to end online and offline sexual abuse and exploitation of children while promoting their rights and safety.

School officials expressed pride in the achievement, noting that STIP’s participation reflects the institution’s continued commitment to academic excellence and child rights awareness. Quiamjot’s performance earned praise from teachers and classmates, bringing honor to the school community.

The Children’s Congress Celebration Quiz Bee is one of the major activities mounted annually to promote children’s welfare, strengthen youth involvement, and inspire learners to become advocates of safety and rights protection.
