Ayon sa kanila, dahil ito sa group marketing. Sa group marketing, pinagsasama-sama ng mga magsasakang miyembro ng isang grupo o isang kooperatiba ang kanilang mga ani at ibinibenta nang bultuhan. Sa ganitong paraan, hindi na dumadaan sa mga traders ang kanilang produkto at naibebenta nila sa mas mataas na presyo.

Ang group marketing ay itinuturo sa mga grupo o kooperatiba ng mga magsasaka na project partner ng Rice Business Innovations System (RiceBIS) Community Program ng DA-PhilRice.
