𝗕𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 𝗠𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮, 𝗠𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗡𝗮𝗻𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝘀𝘂𝗼𝘁 𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝘂𝘁𝗶 𝘀𝗮 𝗢𝗸𝘁𝘂𝗯𝗿𝗲 𝟮𝟲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝘀𝗮 𝗔𝗿𝗮𝘄 𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝘀𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘀𝗶

Muling nanawagan si Bishop Socrates Mesiona, MSP, sa lahat mga mananampalataya na magsuot ng puti bukas, Oktubre 26, bilang pakikiisa sa National Day of Prayer and Public Repentance na itinakda ng Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP).

Ayon sa obispo, ang pagsusuot ng puti ay hindi lamang simbolo ng pananampalataya kundi isang tahimik na paninindigan laban sa kasamaan, kawalang-katarungan, at patuloy na sakuna sa bansa. Sa Palawan, ang Oktubre 26 ay itinakdang araw ng sabayang panalangin at misa sa buong Bikaryato ng Puerto Princesa.

“Ang puti ay panalangin. Isa itong paninindigan. Isa itong pag-asa,” pahayag ni Bishop Mesiona. “Sa gitna ng kasinungalingan at korapsyon, magsuot tayo ng puti bilang sagisag ng ating panalangin para sa bayan.”

Hinihikayat din ng obispo ang paglalagay ng puting laso sa mga bahay, sasakyan, at pampublikong lugar bilang tanda ng pakikiisa. Inaanyayahan ang lahat na magsuot ng puti tuwing Linggo hanggang sa pagdiriwang ng Kristong Hari sa Nobyembre 23.

“Bukas, magsuot tayo ng puti. Ipakita natin na tayo’y nagkakaisa sa panalangin, sa paninindigan, at sa pag-asa ng pagbabago,” dagdag ng obispo.

Sa gitna ng sunod-sunod na sakuna at lumalalang korapsyon sa bansa, nananawagan si Bishop Socrates Mesiona,MSP, ng Apostolic Vicariate of Puerto Princesa: magsuot ng puti. Hindi lang ito simpleng kulay—ito’y panalangin, paninindigan, at pag-asa.

Ang panawagan ay tugon sa National Day of Prayer and Public Repentance ng Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines. Ngunit sa Palawan, binibigyang-diin ang Oktubre 26 bilang araw ng sabayang panalangin at pagsusuot ng puti sa misa. Simula Oktubre hanggang Nobyembre, hinihikayat ang lahat na magsuot ng puti tuwing Linggo, hanggang sa pagdiriwang ng Kristong Hari sa Nobyembre 23.

Puti—kulay ng panalangin, pagsisisi, at pag-asa

“Hindi lang natural na sakuna ang gumugulo sa bayan,” ani Bishop Mesiona. “May mga sakunang gawa ng tao—kasinungalingan, kawalang-katarungan, korapsyon. Lahat tayo apektado. Walang exempted.”

Sa harap ng trahedya, ang puti ay nagiging tahimik ngunit matapang na sagot. Isang paalala na may Diyos tayong malalapitan. Isang paninindigan na hindi tayo natutuwa sa nangyayari. Isang pag-asa na may pagbabagong darating.

Puti bilang paninindigan

Hinihikayat din ang paglalagay ng puting laso sa simbahan, bahay, sasakyan, at mga pampublikong lugar. Isang simpleng paraan para ipakita: “Kasama kami sa panalangin. Kasama kami sa paninindigan.”

“Ang puti ay hindi lang kulay,” giit ng obispo. “Isa itong panalangin. Isa itong paninindigan. Isa itong pag-asa.”

Sa harap ng mga trahedya, hinihikayat ng simbahan ang pagbabalik-loob sa Diyos. “Lapit tayo sa Panginoon. Humingi tayo ng tawad. Manalangin tayo para sa bayan.”

Sa panawagang ito, umaasa ang simbahan na ang sama-samang pagkilos ng mga mamamayan ay maging daan tungo sa panibagong simula—isang bayan na muling mahuhugasan, mapapanibago, at maililigtas sa pamamagitan ng awa ng Diyos.

🔥Growing in the Spirit 🔥
A beautiful reminder that life in Christ is not static, but a continuous journey of deepening faith and spiritual renewal.

🎤 The talk was delivered with conviction and clarity by Bro. B**g Dela Rosa, who shared how the Holy Spirit empowers us to live transformed lives—marked by joy, peace, and a desire to serve. He emphasized that spiritual growth is not about perfection, but about allowing God to work in us daily.

💖 Following the talk, we were blessed by a heartfelt and inspiring personal testimony from Sis. Nene Dela Rosa, who shared how her relationship with the Holy Spirit brought peace and direction in the midst of life’s trials and transitions. Her story was a testament to God’s faithfulness and the power of surrender.

🙏 The session was filled with grace, reflection, and renewed commitment to pursue a deeper walk with the Lord. As we grow in the Spirit, we grow in love, community, and mission.

🌿 May we continue to open our hearts to the Holy Spirit and allow Him to guide our steps in every season of our lives.

CFC & Family Ministries Monthly Assembly Recap

We praise and thank the Lord for another Spirit-filled and joyfully united monthly assembly of Couples for Christ (CFC) Rio Tuba Chapter together with our beloved Family Ministries: SFC, YFC, and KFC!

The assembly opened with a vibrant Praise and Worship, setting our hearts in alignment with God’s presence and preparing us for a morning of community, reflection, and renewal.

Following the worship, we were blessed with monthly updates and reports from the different sectors of our Family Ministries: SFC (Singles for Christ), YFC (Youth for Christ), KFC (Kids for Christ).

Each group joyfully shared their recent activities, upcoming plans, and ways we can all continue supporting one another in the mission.

The highlight of our gathering was a powerful and enriching Talk given by Bro. Vic Quintero, focusing on:
“Sons and Daughters of God” – a deep reminder of our identity in Christ and the unchanging love of our Heavenly Father.
“Purifying Relationships in Our Community” – an encouraging call to strengthen our bonds in truth, humility, and Christ-like love. 🙏

We ended the day with a bring-and-share lunch fellowship, celebrating not just the food we brought, but the relationships and unity we continue to build as one growing community in Christ.

Thank you to everyone who came and served! Let’s continue to walk together as a family in mission, rooted in love and always seeking God’s will. 💖

What a Spirit-filled night it was! 🙌

🎙️ Our speaker, Bro. Roland Ustares, delivered a moving and enlightening talk that reminded us of the transformative power of the Holy Spirit in our lives. His message inspired many hearts to open up more deeply to God’s presence and action.

💬 The night was made even more meaningful by the heartfelt testimonies from our CLP participants, who courageously shared their personal journeys — how they encountered God, overcame struggles, and grew in faith during the program. Their stories were a true testament to how the Holy Spirit continues to work in the lives of those who seek Him. 💖

🔥 Let us continue to pray for one another as we move forward in this journey, trusting that the same Spirit who began this good work in us will bring it to fulfillment.
