Batan Academy (ANS) gathered in a meaningful celebration to warmly welcome home its WVRAA athletesβyoung individuals whose discipline, perseverance, and quiet sacrifices have brought pride to the entire school community.π
The program opened with the much-anticipated entrance of the athletes, a moment that spoke not only of achievement, but of the dedication behind every step they have taken. This was followed by the inspiring message of School Principal II, Sir Ronel D. Flaviano, who set the tone of the event with words grounded in pride, gratitude, and purpose.
Words of encouragement were then shared by Head Teacher III, Maβam Jennifer R. Dela Cruz, gently reminding the athletes that their strength extends far beyond competition. This was further enriched by the message of Sir Zmark Florence Villaruel, School and District Coordinator, whose reflections called for continued passion, discipline, and growth.
Representing the athletes, Palarong Pambansa qualifier Jale Gabriel Caluba delivered a sincere message of gratitudeβan acknowledgment of both the challenges they overcame and the unwavering support that guided them throughout their journey.
The celebration concluded with a parade that carried the spirit of the program beyond the stage, uniting the community in a shared expression of pride and recognition.
More than a welcome, it was a thoughtful tribute to effort, a celebration of growth, and a reminder that true excellence is shaped not only by victory, but by character.π
