Anointing of the Sick is one of the seven Catholic sacraments.This sacrament serves as a channel for special graces from God that comfort and heal, physically and spiritually, people who are seriously ill and in danger of death.

Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.
