Three years ago, my partner and I just happened to pass by Almeda and discovered this small spot serving Ilocos empanada here in Naga. Out of curiosity, we stopped and gave it a try and honestly, we were surprised by how incredibly good it was.

What made it even more special was how kind and welcoming the owner was. Back then, we could easily sit and enjoy our food at a table without any rush. Fast forward to today, and it’s amazing to see how much has changed long lines, always sold out, and people patiently waiting just to get a taste.

This is what hard work, consistency, and passion look like. From a simple food stop to a place that people line up for truly inspiring. Success didn’t happen overnight, but it definitely came through dedication and love for what you do.

To everyone who wants to try their Ilocos empanada, a little patience goes a long way. The long lines and occasional sold-out days just prove how good the food really is. Trust me it’s worth the wait.
