𝐀𝐤𝐚𝐥𝐚 𝐤𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐤𝐨—𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐨 𝐧𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐭𝐚𝐩𝐨𝐬 𝐚𝐤𝐨.

Mula paggising hanggang sa pagtulog, walang ibang pumapasok sa isip ko kundi ang duda na baka hanggang dito na lamang. Kahit walang nakakakita ng aking pagod at dedikasyon, ako mismo ang saksi sa araw-araw kong pagbangon.

May mga araw na pakiramdam ko napag-iiwanan ako, na baka hindi ito para sa akin. Pero sa kabila ng lahat, pinili ko pa rin ang magpatuloy kahit paunti-unti, kahit mabagal, basta’t hindi tumitigil.

Hindi naging madali ang daan, ngunit bawat hakbang, bawat luha, at bawat laban ay may kahulugan.

PART 3

Northern Iloilo Christian School, Inc. (NICS) held its Recognition Day for Grade 7–9 and Grade 11 students on Thursday, March 26, 2026. The event celebrated not only academic excellence but also the resilience, purpose, and determination that learners demonstrated throughout the school year.

The program formally opened with a prayer, followed by uplifting songs performed by selected learners and the NICS Harmony. Teachers and school administrators were also present, guiding the flow of the program and recognizing the hard work of the students they have mentored throughout the year.

The event featured an inspirational message from Guest Speaker Ma’am Anna Marie Torreres-De la Cruz of Valerio P. Palmares National High School.

She left a meaningful impact on both students and parents by shifting the focus from simple achievement to a deeper sense of purpose. She encouraged learners to view their awards as reflections of their faithfulness and growth, inspiring them to stay grounded and motivated.

As the awarding ceremony commenced, the venue was filled with applause and excitement. Learners took the stage with pride, accompanied by their parents, as they received their medals and certificates. The atmosphere was marked by cheers, gratitude, and a deep sense of accomplishment.

Parents, on the other hand, were reminded that success is not solely defined by honors, but by the values their children uphold and the paths they are guided toward. This message created a shared sense of pride and reflection, making the celebration more heartfelt and meaningful for everyone.

Quoting Jeremiah 29:11, Ma’am Anna Marie emphasized, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” She explained that this passage reminds everyone that God has a good plan for each person, one filled with hope and a promising future.

The message encouraged students to trust their journey and remain faithful to their purpose, highlighting that success is not about being better than others, but about being faithful to one’s calling.

Beyond the medals and recognition, the ceremony reminded students that success is not measured by comparison, but by faithfulness to one’s purpose. Each award symbolized not just an achievement, but a step toward a greater calling.
