BISOC Trainee Mary Joy S. Cruz reflects:
"I’ve learned that the call to duty goes far beyond following orders. As we uphold our three cardinal principles, we realize that true leadership is serving with humility, friendship is building connections across differences, and service is giving from the heart without expecting anything in return.
In the Aeta community, survival depends on sharing and cooperation. As a trainee, I wanted to demonstrate the essence of camaraderie and align with the spirit of 'Bayanihan.' In their culture, sharing food is not seen as 'charity' it is a mark of belonging. It shows the children that they are not outsiders they are one of us.

We hope this simple gesture inspires others to help. A small act can brighten someone's day, especially as they face rising oil prices, energy costs, and threats to their livelihood. The Aeta community remains far from the reach of the benefits they deserve and far from the ears of those in power." Do a good turn daily."

On November 29, 2025, the APO Samat Alumni Association, together with the Lambda Mu Chapter and PC 257, set up a hydration station for the Mt. Samat Pilgrimage in Diwa, Pilar, Bataan. The brotherhood also served free lugaw to pilgrims, adding a little extra comfort to their journey.

It was a simple but meaningful way to live out what Alpha Phi Omega stands for: Leadership, Friendship, and Service!

The Alpha Phi Omega – Lambda Mu Chapter and APO Samat Alumni Association proudly joined the celebration of the 2nd Anniversary of the Limay Warriors Advocates at Kawilihan, DND Arsenal, Lamao, Limay, Bataan.

In the spirit of true service, the Chapter extended support through cash and in-kind donations to help uplift and empower children with disabilities.

Alpha Phi Omega remains steadfast in its mission—not only to serve the fraternity but also to uplift communities. Service is where the heart of APO is.
