Beyond Protocols: Tailoring Therapy for the Right Case

Focus: This session provides a high-impact Selection Framework that helps practitioners confidently match the most effective therapeutic approach to a client’s unique psychological profile, clinical presentation, and environmental stressors.

Learning Objectives:
1. Identify when to use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to challenge negative thought patterns versus when to apply Person-Centered Therapy to build trust through empathy and active listening.
2. Master the transition from deep exploration to Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help clients identify actionable breakthroughs and achieve rapid clinical progress in high-pressure workplace or school environments.
3. Create a custom Treatment Map that helps clinicians decide if a client needs a structured CBT action plan or a supportive Person-Centered space based on their current level of emotional crisis.
